The Men’s Sheds movement has seen groups set up all across the country.

“Its the place to be and all I can say is we’d welcome more members if we can get them.”

It’s an opportunity for men to gather together to learn some new skills and to have a cup of tea and a chat.

“First thing we had to buy here was a kettle – after that everything else followed.”

Belmont Mill is the home of the local Men’s Shed and it’s not often that they let women into their sanctuary but somehow our reporter Sinéad Hubble has managed to bypass the security and she’s filed this report that you can listen to below.
