A mother from the Swan has been recognized for her caring nature. Sarah Jane Mangan has won the title of the Laois Carer of the Year. The mum of three is carer to her son Joseph who is on the autism spectrum and his twin brother Jack who is a double leg amputee, while also looking after her husband John who has had surgery on his back. She has been speaking to Midlands 103’s reporter Michael Brophy.
