Could This Be Ireland’s Biggest Boyzone Fan?

Boyzone’s last ever Irish gig went down like a treat for one particular woman from Mullingar.
Nicole Bates spoke to Midlands Today with Will Faulkner about the final gig and her lifelong passion for the band.
“From the minute they started talking to the crowd they made it very clear it was the last time and how emotional it was going to be for them.”
Nicole tells us that as much as it was a concert to celebrate Boyzone’s music it also served as a final goodbye and commemoration to the late Stephen Gately.
“They had a separate stage – they had a big white light and everytime Stephen’s vocals came on the light would shine with lots of smoke. It represented him – it was very emotional.”
She managed to “drag” her other half to the concert who, by the end of it, was giving it socks. So what else managed to go down at the concert?
