FULL INTERVIEW: Tullamore Woman Desperate To Come Home From Hospital
Written 1 month ago by Angel Croitor
A Tullamore woman who suffered an aneurysm 14 months ago is calling on the HSE to let her go home.
Joanne O’Connor has been in hospitals ever since the incident, which has affected her speech and left her paralysed.
Her husband Tommy claims the HSE is insisting she needs to go to a nursing home, not her family house, despite the fact that the local authority has already given them a €30,000 grant to adapt the property for her needs.
He says it’s been a nightmare situation for them all.
