Homeless Man In Laois Told To Go Back To Dublin To Avail Of Homeless Services

A man who’s been living in a tent in Portlaoise for 10 days says all he wants is a fresh start.
David, who’s in his 50s was advised to go back to Dublin, where he’s from, to avail of homeless services.
Laois County Council has said the availability of supports in other local authorities is not a factor, and says it interview every person who presents themselves to determine if it can help.
The Dublin native told Midlands 103’s Mary-Kate Findon that he wants to stay in Portlaoise because the people are great in the full interview up above.
