One Westmeath Family Still Waiting For A List Of Services For Their Daughter’s Special Needs
Written 1 week ago by Angel Croitor
One family from County Westmeath claims they are prisoners in their own home because their daughter is not receiving the help she needs to live with her autism.
Aimee McAlister was diagnosed when she was two years old but the family are still waiting for a list of services to help ease her life.
Her parents say they are struggling to cope as she is up at night screaming for hours and because she’s non verbal she can’t communicate what is wrong.
They’ve been speaking to Midlands 103’s Sinead Hubble over their daily issues in the full interview up above.
