30 Patients Await Admission At Tullamore Hospital

Sixty-two people are waiting to be admitted to the hospitals in the Midlands this afternoon.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, Tullamore is one of the busiest in the country with 30 patients on trolleys in the emergency department or in already full wards.
Elsewhere in the region, 28 people are awaiting admission to Mullingar while there are four on trolleys in Portlaoise.
Nationally, the figure stands at 455.
