‘A Punch Can And Does Kill’ – Mother Of Mullingar Assault Victim
Written 3 years ago by Newsroom
The mother of a young man who died following an assault in Mullingar is urging people to recognise the consequences of violence.
Twenty year old Andrew Dolan from Carrick On Shannon died on New Years Day 2012, ten days after he was attacked outside a fast-food restaurant on Pearse Street.
Speaking on last night’s Crimecall, Rosie Dolan said she would plead with people to realise that ‘a punch can and does kill’ and asked that young people look after each other on nights out.
Two men and a woman have been convicted over the attack.
