Abortion Legislation Passed

The legislation to allow abortions to happen in Ireland has been passed.
It now goes to the Seanad for final sign off before it becomes law, allowing terminations to take place from the 1st of January.
The atmosphere became tense when Meath West Deputy Peader Tóibín accused the pro-choice side of filibustering their own bill, saying the Dáil word count shows they spoke the most.
