Call For Resolution To Durrow Abbey House Dispute

The Oireachtas Finance Committee Chairman is calling for a row surrounding Durrow Abbey House in Co. Offaly to be resolved.

Arts for Peace, which works with children affected by conflict, is involved in a legal dispute with the Office of Public Works regarding the maintenance of the property.

The charity agreed a long term lease with the state over ten years ago.

Fianna Fáil’s John McGuinness has called on the OPW Minister Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran to intervene.
