Chinese Jade Seal Sells In Laois For €280K

A Chinese jade seal has sold at a Laois auction house for €280,000.

The object had been used around the 18th or 19th century to sign off on important documents and decrees.

On its handle, featured dragons with four claws – a sign of its imperial heritage.
