Claims About Tullamore Funding Is ‘Election Fever’

An Offaly Fine Gael TD says a claim that Tullamore is being left behind by the current Government is “ludicrous”.

Deputy Marcella Corcoran Kennedy has been responding to Fianna Fáil Councillor Declan Harvey who claims the area is deliberately being left behind due to its association with former Taoiseach Brian Cowen, and his brother sitting TD Barry.

He claimed it gets lowers cuts of funding than other towns.

Deputy Corcoran Kennedy will now write a newsletter to detail all the investment in the town since 2011.
