Dash Cam Appeal After Westmeath Robbery

Gardai are renewing their appeal for dash cam footage following a cash-in-transit robbery in Westmeath.

Two men, with their faces covered, approached an employee outside the Bank of Ireland in Kinnegad at around 10.20 on Thursday morning.

One of them was armed with what appeared to be an iron bar – a cash box was taken but no one was injured.

Crime Prevention Officer Sgt. John McWalter says they left the scene in a gold coloured Renault Scenic:
