Depaul Launches New Homelessness Awareness Campaign
Written 1 month ago by admin
Homeless charity Depaul has launched a new awareness campaign to keep a spotlight on rough sleeping and homelessness.
It comes as recent figures show a total of 128 people sleeping rough in Dublin with a record number of 10-thousand 305 people homeless across Ireland.
Across Laois, Offaly, Westmeath and Longford there are 216 without a home, including 100 children.
The charity says it wants the public to continue seeing homelessness as a huge social issue and not just a part of everyday life.
