Environment Min. Promising To Do More For Climate Change

The Environment Minister is pledging that the Government will step up when it comes to tackling climate change.

Thousands of students across the globe have been protesting as part of Friday For Future today, calling on the State to declare the issue an emergency.

In the Midlands, pupils protested outside Offaly County Council and Athlone Civic Centre.

Speaking at a protest at the Dáil, Richard Bruton said the Government will do better;
