A former Athlone garda will resume giving evidence at the Disclosures Tribunal today.

Whistleblower Keith Harrison yesterday denied threatening to burn and bury his partner Marisa Simms after repeated texts from her accusing him of such behaviour.

A statement made by Ms Simms to Gardai also contained these threats, however she told the tribunal they were not meant literally and that she’d never been threatened by her partner.
