Garda Pay Agreement ‘Far From A Done Deal’ – Local GRA Spokesman
Written 3 years ago by Newsroom
The GRA’s Westmeath representative says a new pay agreement for rank and file Gardaí is ‘far from a done deal’.
Conor Staunton and other members of the central executive committee are meeting today to discuss a proposal reached with the Department of Justice.
Talks between both sides have been on-going for several months in response to the GRA’s rejection of the Lansdowne Road Agreement.
Mr Staunton, who is stationed in Moate, says he is not overly optimistic.
