An Offaly TD is criticising the Government over it’s handling of Bord na Móna job losses saying it should have been more proactive.
The semi-state company announced in October that 430 people would be offered a voluntary redundancy package as part of their efforts to de-carbonise.
Independent Carol Nolan has been telling the Dáil that a plan for companies to wind down peat harvesting had been published well in advance of that.
