Hospital Overcrowding Approaching Record Levels

Hospital overcrowding is approaching record levels today.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, 623 patients are awaiting admission across the country including 34 in Tullamore, 22 in Mullingar and 18 in Portlaoise.
Today’s figure includes 14 children.
A record total of 677 people on trolleys or in full wards was set early last month.
