ISME Meeting In Portlaoise This Morning To Fight ‘Insurance Crisis’

The Irish SME Association is holding a meeting in Portlaoise this morning to highlight the need for insurance reform.

Chief executive Neil McDonnell says the cost of cover has become unaffordable for many business owners, and is calling for the Justice Minister and Laois TD Charlie Flanagan to take action.

He claims lawyers and insurers are extracting many millions of euros a year from the SME sector.

Business owners are urged to attend this morning’s meeting in Kavanagh’s from 7:30.
