Local Exporters Concerned As Value Of Pound Drops

The pound-euro exchange rate has hit a 9 month low – causing concern for local food producers.
Westmeath farmer Gerry Reilly says 9 out of 10 of his product is sent to the UK, and he fears what will happen to his business when they leave the EU.
The owner of Reilly’s Mushrooms in Walderstown claims his sales have taken a 20 percent drop since the announcement of their plans to depart.
He believes he’s not the only one who has been struggling;
