Local Parents To Hold Dáil Protest Over School Transport Scheme

Written 3 years ago by Newsroom

Parents from the Rhode area are travelling to Dublin this morning to protest against the current school transport system.

Concern has been raised in recent months after a number of local children were unable to get a seat on a bus to secondary schools in Edenderry.

Organisers are inviting parents from across the country to the demonstration outside the Dáil at midday.

Alan Davy from Rhode is one of the parents who has been told his son can’t access free transport.
