The European Parliament has endorsed a resolution which aims to preserve the Good Friday Agreement.

Five hundred and forty four MEPs voted to pass the paper which outlines the possible relationship between the EU and UK post-Brexit.

It is now expected to be approved by member state’s leaders at a major summet next week.
