Hospital Site Should Be Donated To State – Fleming
Written 1 year ago by Newsroom
The Sisters of Charity are being urged to give the State full ownership of the new National Maternity Hospital.
Public Accounts Committee Chairman, Laois Fianna Fáil TD Sean Fleming, wants the Health Minister to go back to the religious order and remove any ‘complications’.
The nuns would own the facility because it’s being built on their lands at St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin.
Deputy Fleming is questioning why they need to have any stake.
