Met Eireann Issues Weather Warnings Ahead Of Storm Brian

Efforts to fully restore power after Storm Ophelia could be affected by further strong winds this weekend.
Met Eireann has issued a ‘Status Orange’ wind warning for coastal parts of Munster as well as Wexford on Saturday – from midnight to 12 noon.
Oncoming ‘Storm Brian’ has also prompted another such warning for Galway and Mayo that day from 6am to 6pm.
Gusts could be as strong as 130 kilometres per hour, with the risk of coastal flooding.
