Midland Ministers Turn World Green

Around sites and monuments around the world are going green for this St Patrick’s Day.

A giant blue whale skeleton in England along with a lion statue made from flip flops in Kenya are just some of the quirkier things to join the list.

The Global Greening Initiative started in 2010 with the Sydney Opera House and the Auckland.

During his visit to Canada, Communications Minister and Roscommon Galway Independent TD Denis Naughten posted a video on Twitter of him turning a world famous tourist attraction green:
