Midlands House Prices Up More Than National Average

House prices in the Midlands have grown at a faster rate than the national average.
According to the CSO’s residential property price index, the cost of an average home in Laois, Offaly, Westmeath and Longford grew by almost 13% percent in the year to January.
Edenderry saw the largest increase with the average property costing 162 thousand, while Birr has the lowest median cost at 100 thousand.
