Written 1 week ago by Newsroom
The Children’s Minister says the Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes needs time to complete its work.
Katherine Zappone has told the Dáil that she understands the frustrations of survivors that the final report has been delayed by a year until next February.
The Manor House in Castlepollard and Sean Ross Abbey in Roscrea are among the homes listed in the inquiry’s terms of reference.
Minister Zappone is defending the delay.
