Minister Flanagan Seeks Halt To Russian Military Actions In Syria
Written 3 years ago by Newsroom
Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan is calling on Russia to end its military actions in Aleppo.
The Laois Fine Gael TD says the attacks have had ‘catastrophic consequences for vulnerable civilians’, and wants a full ceasefire to be restored.
Britain has accused Russia of partnering with Syrian state forces to carry out war crime, after a major escalation in fighting in the last week.
Minister Flanagan says his concerns will be sent directly to the Russian authorities.
