Minister Urges Caution On Craft Brewery Proposals

The Justice Minister is urging caution on plans to allow craft breweries and distilleries sell their products to visitors.
Laois Fine Gael TD Charlie Flanagan says the Government is supportive of legislation by Labour’s Alan Kelly but he doesn’t want hundreds of mini-pubs cropping up across the country at the stroke of a pen.
He has been speaking at the Oireachtas Justice Committee which has been considering a number of amendments to the proposals.
