Minister Needs To Assess Drone Threat

The potential impact drones could have on Irish airports has been discussed at a meeting in Dublin today.

The Transport Minister Shane Ross met with the Irish Aviation Authority and other interested parties including the Gardai and defence forces.

It comes after drones caused major disruption at Heathrow and Gatwick airports in the UK recently.
