Nolan Accuses Department Of “Adding Fuel To The Fire” In Teacher Dispute

Sinn Fein’s Carol Nolan is accusing the Department of Education of “adding fuel to the fire” as part of the ongoing secondary teachers strike.
The Party’s Education Spokesperson is responding to the Department’s announcement that teachers who don’t comply with supervision or substitution after November 7th will be removed from the payroll.
The first of seven days of strikes among ASTI members has taken place today, in a row over pay inequality.
Offaly deputy Nolan is critical of the Department’s latest move.
