Nolan Says ASTI Entitled To Withdraw Supervision During Pay Dispute

An Offaly TD says ASTI members are entitled to withdraw supervision cover as the pay dispute rumbles on.

Earlier, it was revealed that the Government could dock around €2,500 from wages if teachers refuse to supervise pupils.

ASTI delegates voted last month to withdraw the cover for supervision from schools from September 1st over ongoing pay scale issues.

Offaly Sinn Féin deputy Carol Nolan is the party Spokesperson on Education.
