An Offaly man living in Las Vegas says locals are rallying around those injured and bereaved following yesterday’s mass shooting.

Fifty-nine people were killed and over 500 others wounded after a gunman opened fire on concert goers.

Police revealed that 64 year old Stephen Paddock, who took his own life, had an arsenal of over 40 guns.

John O’Donnell from Banagher lost a friend in the attack.
