A restaurant in Offaly had been forced to close after the discovery of rodent droppings.
King’s Chinese Take Away in Daingean had been ordered to shut its doors for more than a week on January 16th following an inspection from the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.
The droppings were found in the kitchen, storage area and staff toilet.
As part of their visits, the FSAI also issued a closure to a hospital kitchen in Navan, Co. Meath after a dead rat was found for the second time in two months.
