Over 15,600 Waiting On First Consultation In Offaly Hospital

There are over 15,600 people waiting for a first hospital outpatient consultation in Tullamore hospital.
New figures from the National Treatment Purchas Fund shows that Offaly has almost three times the amount of people on its list compared to Laois.
There are more than 6,000 awaiting in Portlaoise while Mullingar’s total surpasses 8,000.
Nationally, there are over half a million people in line to be seen.
