Overcrowding At Midlands Hospitals “Unforgivable” – INMO
Written 7 hours ago by Newsroom
Spiralling overcrowding numbers at the Midlands hospitals are being branded “unforgiveble”.
Figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation reveal that almost 11,000 people were on trolleys or in already full wards in the three hospitals between January and the end of October – almost three times more than the figure five years ago.
Tullamore Hospital has had the worst local overcrowding stats so far this year, followed closely by Mullingar.
Liam Doran is General Secretary of the INMO.
