Searches are continuing for a Roscommon man who has been missing in Galway for over a week now.

The man, who is in his late thirties and from Kiltoom just outside Athlone, was last seen entering the water at Wolfe Tone Bridge in Galway city at approximately 5.50pm on Thursday March 10th.

Members of the RNLI and Oranmore Maree Coastal Search Team have been involved in the search between Salthill and Tawain Island near the south of Oranmore for past number of days.

Meanwhile, volunteers are being asked to take part in further searches tomorrow starting from Calasanctius College in Oranmore at 9am.
