Success For Midlands 103 At The National Radio Awards

Midlands 103 is celebrating after a successful night at the National Radio Awards.

The station picked up two gold IMRO awards and two silver titles at the ceremony in Kilkenny last night.

Ann Marie Kelly’s The Open Door won Best Magazine Show and the Road House Cafe presenter also pick up Specialist Music Broadcaster of the year.

Will Faulkner was recognised with silver in the Speech Broadcaster – Local/Regional and his programme Midlands Today was the runner up in the Current Affairs Programme category.

Its the only local radio to win two gold awards.

In total Midlands 103 was nominated in six categories.
