Ten people have been charged following a crime operation in Carlow and Kilkenny.

As part of Operation Thor, 35 people were arrested by Gardai during a four day initiative with most of the activity taking place today.

The arrests were made in connection with investigations into recent burglary, theft, criminal damage, assault and violent disorder incidents.

Seven vehicles were also seized for non-compliance of various road traffic acts.
