Troy Wants Minister To Spell Out Public Transport Plans Amid Industrial Unrest
Written 3 years ago by Newsroom
Fianna Fáil’s Transport Spokesperson says Minister Shane Ross needs to clearly spell out his plans for the future of public transport.
Longford Westmeath TD Robert Troy’s comments come as drivers at Bus Éireann are being balloted for industrial action over the company’s plans to restructure its Expressway service to cut costs.
Dublin Bus drivers are also holding another work stoppage in their dispute over pay.
Deputy Troy says the Transport Minister needs to allow companies to plan ahead.
