Vigils Across Midlands This Evening To Support Cystic Fibrosis Sufferers

Candlelit vigils are being held across the Midlands this evening to support the cystic fibrosis community.
The events beginning at 7pm in Portlaoise, Mullingar and Longford are part of a national campaign seeking access to the drug Orkambi.
Negotiations are continuing between the Government and the drug manufacturers to negotiate a reduction to the current €160,000 per patient per year asking price.
