Irish Water says that supply has been restored to all areas in Laois and Offaly.

A tanker was brought into Rathdowney yesterday where 1,700 people were left without water after a power outage at the treatment plant in Galmoy.

A similar problem affected around 70 people in Coolderrry.

The company says that all of its treatment plants have full power restored and it is business as usual.
