Written 2 months ago by Newsroom

Westmeath and Offaly will be represented in tonight’s Rose of Tralee live TV show.

Twenty-three year old psychology graduate Eva Cooney (left) from Glasson will fly the flag for the Lake County while 24 year old junior doctor Jennifer Byrne (right) from Clonaderig, Ballinahown is the Faithful County’s contestant.

Eighteen roses will take to the stage from 8pm, followed by 14 tomorrow night.

Laois Rose, event manager Maeve Dunne from Mountmellick, failed to progress to the final 32.

Eva says it’s a huge honour to get through to the finals.
