Gardai are looking for two people involved in the robbery of a Laois shop.

A man and woman walked into the Card Stand in The Square, Rathdowney at 6.20 yesterday evening, where a worker was pushed and cash stolen from the till.

CCTV has identified a man in his early 20s, around 6ft tall, with red hair, heavy stubble and dressed in a grey hooded tracksuit.

A woman, between 5ft 2ins- 5ft5ins in height, with black hair, wearing a bright orange tracksuit top and black bottoms, is also being sought.
