John McDonnell John McDonnell has been waking up the midlands on and off for the last 10 years. Back then it was the Big Breakfast, now it’s the Jumbo Breakfast Show. When not working on the No. 1 Breakfast Show in the region, John has been known to take phone calls from Alex Ferguson on selection issues. He can do a passable version of ‘Minnie the Moocher’ and whilst not Michael Flatley can hold his own on the dancefloor. A little known fact is that he has been involved in breaking two world records including the world’s largest hug! John has put his hugging days behind him to present the Jumbo Breakfast Show.
