Guardiola To Be Handed Transfer Warchest At Man City
Written 2 years ago by Will O'Callaghan
Pep Guardiola will have a warchest of 150 million pounds to spend on players when he arrives at Man City in the summer.
The club announced this afternoon that they’ve won the battle to recruit Guardiola when his three-year contract at Bayern Munich expires at the end of the season.
In a statement, City say that it completes negotiations that they had initially started with the former Barcelona coach in 2012.
The 45-year-old has already agreed a new three-year deal with City that will reportedly earn him 20-million euro per year.
City say that Manuel Pellegrini is “fully supportive of the decision” and that it is “out of respect” for Pellegrini that they want to make the “decision public to remove the unnecessary burden of speculation.
