Simon Zebo Staying With Munster Until 2018

Simon Zebo has become the latest high-profile Munster player to commit to Irish rugby.

The 25-year-old winger was thought to be the target of several French clubs this season, but the IRFU announced today that Zebo has agreed a new two-year deal that will see him remain with Munster until June 2018.

It’s yet another huge boost for both Munster and head coach Anthony Foley after last week’s news that Keith Earls and Conor Murray had both agreed three-year contracts.

“It’s great to have even more good news on the contract front today.

“Simon’s record speaks for itself and keeping a player with his experience and versatility is key to our plans going forward so we are delighted that he has committed his future to Munster.”
