O’Loughlin And Moloney To Miss This Weekend’s League Matches

Laois and Offaly are both to be without key players for their matches in the Allianz National Football League this weekend.

Ahead of their trip to Armagh in our live game on In Play at 7pm on Saturday night, Laois’ Ireland international John O’Loughlin has confirmed that a fracture in his hand will require up to six-weeks to heal.

The St Brigid’s clubman aggravated the injury in his finger during last Sunday’s loss to Galway in Division Two.

While Offaly vice-captain Johnny Moloney will miss their game against Kildare in Division Three at Newbridge on Sunday.

Centre-back Moloney will be further assessed for suspected ligament damage later this week but his leg remains heavily swollen.

You can hear commentary of Kildare versus Offaly and Sligo against Westmeath on The Inside Line from 2pm on Sunday.
