Phone records and bank account details are to be handed over by Athlone Town players as part of the match-fixing investigation.

According to the Irish Independent, the squad has agreed to the move as interviews with the FAI finished yesterday.

The Midlands club is under the spotlight after UEFA spotted irregular betting patterns in their 3-1 loss at Longford Town last month, and two further games are now under scrutiny.

Town’s board want parallel investigations to be undertaken by Gardai, UEFA and Interpol.
